In the late 70s I bought my mom a Blue Mountain Pottery fawn which is showcased on your website. I recently came across one at an antique shop and decided to buy this little piece of nastalgia and share my memories of it with my children.
My mother put the fawn on our front hall console table. I felt so proud!
These were sold at a gift store in Toronto called Grand & Toy. It is nice to see so many variations of them on your website. I prefer the green, too.
Later as the years went by one gift I bought my mother was a flying witch which was to be hung in the kitchen. Apparently, it was supposed to bring good luck. Could have there been hidden meaning to my choice of gift? No...far from it. I loved my mom and always wanted to show my gratitude toward her.

Hi
I have a blue mountain pottery whale, I believe it's a whale, but it's fins are not showing, just a long whale or could be a shark, body and tail. I was wondering if you know if it's from the blue water series. It's on ebay as I speak and going off in 2 days. I just wanted to add what type of fish it is. Thank-you I think your web site is amazing. Sincerely Barb

Hi, your collection is amazing. I watchd with interest the auction on ebay the other day of 3 apples and was wondering if you knew if there were very many of these around as I would love to add them to my very small collection. I note you have 4 in your collection. I have been aquiring BMP since 1976 approx and have only just discovered via the internet the extent of peoples collections and interest across the world. It is terrific. Thanks Anne

Hi there. I love your collection. I think the blue is my favorite color. I hope you can help me. I have two odd pieces from an estate I purchased and I believe both are Blue Mountain Pottery. One is a fish planter with a dark brown drip glaze. The other is a seal (I think you have one) with a light blue matte finish. Neither are stamped; and if they had paper tags at one time, as of today those are gone. I can send you pictures if that would help. Let me know. Regards, Mindy

Hi Mom
You have a great collection.
I have a question for you if you would.
I just picked up a blue mountain pottery, white with brown speckles bean pot. I planned on using it for food.. Can I? will it be okay in the oven? micro wave? I already put it in the dishwasher.
