My brother and sister-in-law recently found out that there baby (due in January 2003) has a heart defect and will require surgery to repair. She has Atrioventricular Canal Defect so the diagnosis is different from Joey's, but it was still nice to read your story. Good luck to you all and thanks for sharing you story!

Just wanted to say thanks for the sight. The night we found out about our 10 year old daughters sub- we came across your site. The information was excellent and helped lay the groundwork for us.She had her surgery on 8-28-02 and went home on 8-30-02. An amazing recovery as well. We go to the cardio. on Fri. and the surgeon next Thur. but expect no problems. The surgery was done at Children's in Columbus, OH. Thanks again for taking the time to create your website, it really helped us out.
