Ms. Kaye, My daughter Ashlyn and I had the privilege last night of seeing you perform in Sweeney Todd in Phoenix. As my daughter put it, it was ridiculously fantastic. She is 14 and this was the first broadway show that she had been to. She would like to be an actress someday and she was so impressed by the amazing talent of the cast and I was so pleased that this was her first show. The staging of the show really showed her that so much more is posssible in theater than just actors on a stage saying their lines. I wanted to thank you for how gracious you were with my daughter after Friday night's performance in Portland. We drove over from our town of Bend, about 3 1/2 hours, to see this show that we bought tickets for last year. We were not disappointed! You absolutely made her dream come true by agreeing to pose for a photo. She's already had it printed out along with other cast photos. All of the pics have "demon eyes" and I told her she should have them redone to remove the red eye but she thought it more appropriate for the cast of Sweeney Todd to have demon eyes. I am a truck driver and listen to alot of audiobooks --the difference between a good one and a great one is usually the reader--of all the books I listen to..Kinsey is my favorite character to spend my shift with...The reason is your efforts to bring her and the other characters to life.Thank you for making my working life a little bit more fun !!!!!
