I think you are fantastic - and in Sweeney Todd, you reminded me of a psycho Betty Boop. I'm sure I'm not the first to say you inspire people/artists, but ya do, and please keep doing it so well. And you're hilarious!

Judy,
Your voice is magic! I am a huge fan of the Sue Grafton Alphabet series, but I only want to listen to you read them. I love your "Kinsey" and hope you will finish the series. Because of your wonderful reading, I plan to listen to your singing. You ROCK! Thanks you for many hours of wonderful reading.

I have just come back from seeing SWEENEY TODD for my 2nd time at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto. The show is breathtaking, and Judy Kaye is the finest Mrs. Lovett I have ever seen. So many subtleties!!! Such a beautifully developed character!!! Even watching this actress move across a stage to set up a prop was mesmerizing. I could go on and on....and on. I'm an actor and a director, and watching Judy Kaye's work in this role was like a master class. I don't usually gush, but this performance certainly inspires it.

Bea took her autographed program and picture you kindly stood for and impressed her pals in Grade 3. She tried to explain the plot of Sweeney to them but it was all a bit much. She is an unusual 8 year old, who last summer said, in all seriousness,"Mom, there will never be another Ethel Merman". Thanks for a great show and for your kindness to my little theatre junkie.

Hi Judy, We worked together in Toronto in the mid
eighties, on a production of Kismet for the COC. I
dont know whether you would remember me - I
played Zubbediya's Ayah. I remember going to
dinner with you and a bunch of the cast for Sushi
- you turned me on to sushi and it has been my
favourite food ever since!
I was so pleased to hear that you were in the
Sweeney Todd coming to the Princess of Wales.
We are subscribers and have tickets for the last
performance on December 9th. I have always been
interested in following your career since the show
we did together - what great success you have
had! Christina James
