Dear Judy
Brava brava bravissima! I took my 14 yr. old jaded
son to the show last night and he LOVED it. He
loved you. His years of being on the road as "Son of
an opera singer" made him uniquely qualified to
drink it all in and he woke this morning laughing at
particularly funny moments, loving the cracks about
"the mezzos". (I'm a mezzo) I loved you. What
amazing vocal detail, brilliant script, and knockout
finale. You looked and sounded just beautiful. I've
been an admirer since Phantom days (I was a house
mezzo at the Met and friends of half your cast!)
AND just saw you in Zorba (again, house mezzo at
LA opera and friends of half the cast!) and I just
wanted to tell you how moved and delighted I am to
see you in this wonderful venue, with the AMAZING
Donald in this tender and respectful tribute to our
most unusual icon of Opera. Continued success,
Suzanna

Eighth grade graduation at Clarendon School; Mr. Pingitore (the art teacher) and combo; and you singing "Summertime"--seems like yesterday. Congrats on your many accomplishments from an old classmate.

Judy, I was in the front row at the Brentwood
Sunday
performance. I have seen much theatre, going back
to your performance ON THE TWENTIEH CENURY. I
was incredibly moved by your performance. As a
fine artist/painter I felt the power of your
performance and
its multi-leveled meaning about self expression. It
motivated me to go further in my own work. All the
best. Bravo!

Dear Judy:
Remember the "Habimettes?" Sandy Bistrow & his wife Ginger and me and my husband Ed are coming to see you at your Sunday matinee, October 15 in Los Angeles. We hope to see you. We will be in row E, seats 101 thru 104 & will try and send a note backstage. We'd love to see you after the show. You can e-mail me if you see this before Sunday. Hope all is well with you.
