Love your Borders. Information invaluable. Have a three and a half year old spayed bitch who is the love of my life, even though she was a problem puppy who had not been socialised and whose mother had been taken away from the litter at five weeks. It has taken me a long time and a lot of patience, blood, sweadt and tears to bring her on to be the loving loyal bitch she is today. Trouble is now I want another one - any offers?

We lost our Miniature Schnauzer a fortnight ago after eleven and a half years. Thank you for sharing some of your dogs on the site. Although not sure about a new dog yet, I have been surprised at the many similarities between her character and that of BT's. Maybe...

Through Wood Green A.S. have rescued Jack, a five year old "mostly Border Terrier" who had been tied up for some years and thumped a great deal. It took 18 months to gain his trust and love me, six months to even stroke him.
His head is not broad enough and nose too long for a BT but the rest of him matches! Loves journeys in the old Morgan - in the winter with his anorak on. With a lot of patience he gsined his Kennel Club Good Citizen Silver which made us both very proud. He can now mix with other dogs, loves children and only and main weakness is bangs of any sort - suspect his ears have been damaged. Otherwise smashing temperament, sense of humour and lots of licks. Just thought you might like to know of one that slipped the net and is not a "proper posh BT"
Love your web - regards Joyce and Jack

Sue, such fun looking at your furry family members! I adored the puppy shots... it's nice to get to know you in a different way that has absolutely nothing to do with PSS! They are adorable. The poem says it all... but who would trade their fur family for any other? My Paul is by my side as I type. Best regards, Elaine (LaceWing)
