I just wanted to say hello, and what beautiful pictures you have on your web site. I used to have Cocker Spaniels which were beautiful and I loved them to bits but they did have a lot of health problems. I do miss having a dog, having lost our last one a few years ago. I have always loved the faces of Border Terriers. I would love to have one, but at the moment we work full time and it would not be fair to the dog. But in the future as I near retirement I would definately look for a Border. Thank you very much for sharing your family with me. Best regards, Gill

I have been researching all the differant breeds as I want to buy a puppy, your site is the best I have visited and the border terrier seems a lovely breed. I have in the past had labradors amd Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.The Cavaliers had many health problems but lovely temperments which is my main priority, also I want a small dog.Where can I find a good breeder in this area, I do not want to travel a long distance to get a pup.

Susan, wonderful site, like so many Border owners I never tire of watching them. Most evenings my eyes drift from the TV to gaze fondly at ours lying flat out on his back or curled up with our cat. Stig is now 2 1/2 years old and we are looking actively for a bitch, prefer a bitch of at least 14 months and willing to wait a few more months if need be. Loved the page and pictures of your dogs. Lucky enough to have a border - Jasper (bred by Mrs Clarkson of Yetminster). He's now 10 years old. I had to wait for 18 years before I could a border. Now would like to find another. Need to find the right one. I'm a priest and Jasper is greatly loved in the parish and town of Topsham where I live.
