I am 1/3 Scott, Swedish and Finish. My grandfather George Sefton is a pure Scott. I do not know much about his past, all articles were left to relatives after his death. He was a feather weight champion boxer and came to the USA to start a family. Born was my father George Sefton Jr and Alice Sefton, also his wifes name. It's nice to know we have fellow Scots in this area. I wish I knew more about my geneology to give you. Great sight I will visit in more detail PJ

My grandmother Coody was born Cathrine Stuat and was born and raise in Inverness, Scotland 1899. My grandfather Coody met her there in Inverness, they married there and my grandmother had my father George Coody in 1919 in Inverness. When my father was 9 months they moved to Gerogia in The United States were my grandfather coody was born and raised. My grandmother older sister Elizabeth Stuart was already over in the United states she lived in Stamford Vermont U.S.A. They were ancenster of the royal Stuarts. There were 13 in their family.I would to find some of my cousins there.

good luck with your venture, as a native Scot it is good to see you have an interest in your Scottish roots. My mother was a Davidson and I used the Davidson tartan for my kilt when Chief of a Calidonian Society when I lived in South Africa. you might get some help with links to Scotland at my website.
