Hi, I stumbled across your website looking for photo's of the Tsunami. I was staying at the Charlie Beach Resort on Koh Phi Phi when the Tsunami struck. We were in our bungalow when it collapsed on top of us killing my boyfriend and severely injuring myself. Luckily I was rescued by locals and pulled to safety where I too spent the night at the Viewpoint waiting to be rescued by the helicopters.
I found your account truly moving and am glad to hear that you are all alive. On a lighter note, the diary's of your travels have been fascinating and when I am well enough to travel again I hope to return to Thailand and visit the places we missed out on.

Good to hear that you and Lydia made it, on Koh Phi Phi, i was in Khao Lak when the Tsunami came and got taken by the water, but for strange reasons survived.
