Your town should beware of the murdering criminal called Pat White. White, owner of EVAS Air Charter in Gander, threatened to put water and styrofoam in a man's airplane fuel tanks, which would probably kill the pilot and his passengers. Sounds like death threats to me, and Pat White has been dating one of the women in your town for a year or more. Time and tide tells all, I say.

I enjoy looking at this site each time. My dad Hedley was born in Fortune to Grace (Thornhil) and Jesse Piercey but moved to the mainland when Jesse drowned in the 30's.We have fond memories of our visit in 1998 when we met Janie Piercey and Margaret Mullins among others.
