Just returned from the 2003 Gathering and had a fantastic time. Hello to everyone we met and congratulations to everyone who organized the event. We are looking forward to next year's Gathering.

Hello everyone. At the AGM of Clan Farquharson in Ballater on the 16th August 2003, I was honoured to be elected the new President of Clan Farquharson (UK). I have taken over from Alan Caig who has served us so well over the last 3 years. Thank you so much Alan. I will do my best to keep up the good work. Our new Committee is in place with some new as well as established faces. You will be glad to hear Alan had agreed to take on the role of editor of our newsletter "The Lion's Face". Please send him lots of material about you, your family or your home. We are planning the 2004 Gathering right now. It will be between 12th to 15th August to coincide with the Ballater Games on the 12th. Make your plans now for holiday/vaction in Scotland or just a long weekend amongst fantastic scenery, history and friends. I wish you all health and prosperity, and look forward to seeing many of you next year in Ballater and Braemar. I travel a great deal through many parts of the world.
