I have a portrait of my GGfather dressed in military uniform, at a guess this would be about a hundred years ago. My father told me he was Queen Victoria's equerry but this may just have been a family tale.

My great great great grandparents married in 1780 on the 31st December, Hary Farquharson wed jean Garriach at Farland and Nigvie, in Aberdeen. My great great grandparents Andrew Farquharson who wed Janet Glass in 1824, 6th April in Logie-Cold-Stone Aberdeen. Any connections out there, to me?
