I have been told that McKercher was of the Lamont clan, but I wasn't sure and today I've found out that we're septs of clan Farquharson. This is very interesting and the more i read, the more I am proud to be of Farquharsopn

I was researching a trip to Scotland and decided to try and find information on my decendants who emigrated to Australia. I was pleasantly surprised to note my family name's association with the Farquharson Clan. I am hoping to visit the Aberdeen area and drive down to Braemar. Regards Robert Christison
