I am just an avg IQ physician, nobody with Mr. Ballard's mathematical insight or incredible persistence, but I have had the fortunate insight to understand one powerful understanding that within the next 50-100 yrs will finally become utilitarian - the use of "nature" to heal "nature" - via "Integrative Medicine." If humankind can just keep from destroying too much more of the planet, naturalistic medicine will indeed have a chance. Fermat's theorem was introduced to me by the Swedish author Steig Larsson in his suspense novel, "The Girl Who Played with Fire." Throughout the 15-CD audible book, the primary character, who was a genius, kept returning to her normally Asperger-like saavant math talent that for this particular equation she could not visualize the answer. The book was very enjoyable - he is the same author whose book, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" has recently become popular.
