Wow, what a great post. we love coming to DC and am so happy to have made the change this year. The kids work so hard learning dances that I can not even dream of learning, and though they are sometimes lost, they always have guidence and support to get the moves down. I know we are going to have to get behind our kids even more with showcase coming up so they can go on stage with confidence and shine. Thanks to the teachers and staff for always being positive and holding the frustration I know must be in you when the younger kids seem to be taking a while to get the showcase dances down.
Kylie has had fun so far this year and has learned so much!

I wanted to respond to the latest anonymous email and thank you also for saying words that meant more than you could imagine. We find it hard of course to lose dancers but know in our hearts sometimes that everything happens for a reason and sometimes its best to venture off to different places at certain times in our life and in the end it only makes everyone stronger and learn things that may not have been learned if they had stayed the entire time. I feel honored that anyone would want to accomplish what we have accomplished and as teachers we will never take full credit for any of it because we know we have been blessed with a great group of dancers with big hearts. Somtimes others doubt our business, our rules and guidelines without realizing that the best interest is always the dancers and to keep the business the most professional we can where everyone can enjoy dancing. We are not perfect, far from it and I feel that we grow and learn ech year but that is what life is all about, growing and learning. The same with the dancers. Its all about the journey and wanting to take that journey. If dancers were perfect and could already do everything then there would be no need for us as teachers and no need for that journey. Well, I am rambling but wanted to thank you for such a positive and meaningful post.
