Kayla, We do not make people sit out of dance for not having thier splits. We spend time working on splits and helping dancers get them so they can go on to learn even more fun things without hurting themselves or pulling a muscle. If a person doesn't have thier splits sitting out wouldn't do anything, instead we just keep stretching letting the dancers know that we believe in them and know they can get their splits. What kind of teachers would be be if we didn't take the extra time out to help those who need more work on thier flexibility. Stephanie

I don't really think it is necessary to be rude on this guest book. They probably only want you to be as good as you can and splits is an important thing that can improve many other skills. Teachers only try to challenge you to work to your potential. Try learning from it and improving yourself. Not being rude.
