The old tube maps are very interesting!
I'd like to point out that the older tube maps, e.g. 1905, would now be out of copyright. For works under corporate copyright, such as these maps, the copyright expired 70 years after publication. See, for instance, http://copyrightservice.co.uk/copyright/copyright_questions.htm
This means that the ineffective right-click prevention should be removed, at the very least for the maps out of copyright. It is annoying, unnecessary and useless.
Also, it would be nice if an email address were somewhere on the page, instead of a guestbook.

Thank you for the wonderful scans of old tube maps. I have long been interested in the London Underground and maps in general. I predict some new decoration for my study walls very soon!

Other changes between 1933 and 1936:
The British Museum/Holborn interchanges side by side have been replaced by a single Holborn station with the Central/Piccadilly interchange clarified.
The Edgeware, Highgate & Morden Line has been renamed the Mordon-Edgeware Line.
Euston now clearly shows the two branches of the Mordon-Edgeware Line interchanging but not looking like they merge.
Consequently the Charing Cross branch with Mornington Crescent is shown to the west of the bank branch, whereas before (and in reality) the branches were the other way round.
The escalator link between Bank & Monument is first indicated.
The District Line disappears off the map after Mile End, not Bow Road.
The East London Line is now shown as being a part of the Metropolitan Line, rather than a separate colour in its own right.

So neat to finally find a relative! I'm tied in way back around 1820 with the Hird/Knott/Gostelow section. I'd love to trade some info, my side went to Canada--My Knott got a land grant and started a piano factory in Ontario. Please contact me as it would be fun since I do family history too! So glad you put this on the WEB--
Thanks!
