Hi,
I'd like to congratulate you on a great web site showing all the different London Underground maps.
There are just a couple of things, I noticed that you may be interested in:
1. On http://clives.members.easyspace.com/tube/tube.html the small map for 1960 links to a page that does not exist (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/clivebillson/tube/1959.jpg) - I believe it should link to http://homepage.ntlworld.com/clivebillson/tube/1960.jpg
2. The entry for 1997 comes before that for 1996!
3. Some of the maps (i.e. the 1941 one) make a reference to a service between Earl's Court and Willesden Junction - do you have any more information on this line?
4. Do you know what happened to the "Railway" service between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon via East Putney and Southfields.
Thanks for a great site!
Regards
Sunil

Dear Mrs/Mr.,
On your site I found a nice picture of the shed of Cardington with the lorry. I want to publish the picture in my book. I am writing a book about a Halifax that had to make a crashlanding near our village Engelen in the Netherlands in 1944. I traced the radio-operator. He is 82 and lives in Canada. Cardington was his first station. I like to publish a picture of the shed. Your picture with the lorry is very nice.Of course I mentioned your site where I found the picture. Maybe there are more obligations for publishing. I ask you to let me know what conditions you have to publish the picture. I don't want to be sued!!
But... the publication is not commercial. It is a tribute to a crew of a Halifax. I will keep the rememberance alive of these brave men. The generation that can tell from first hand is nearly gone in my village. So I want to save the story.
You can see the story in a nutshell (in English too) on my homepage:
http://www.geocities.com/heartland/park/1679. I work now for 8 years to find out what happenend and special to find the crewmembers or relatives.
I hope to hear from you.
Best regards
Frans Lucas

One of my close relatives was on the SS Dara when it sank. He was presumed dead. I am trying to gather whatever data I can about the shipwreck. Is there a location where I can find a list of the victims?

Hi!
I really enjoyed your collection of old tube maps! Just discovered one tiny mistake: the link to the 1960 map doesn't work!
Do you know if reprints of those maps are available anywhere??
greetings
Han
