I grew up in Kenner, LA, being in Grace King High School's second graduating class, and also grew up watching soaps, thanks to my mother and grandmother watching them. I've been mainly a CBS soap watcher, but have a good knowledge of what's going on on the other networks and who's who in the soap world. When you won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Daytime Series, I jumped up and let out a good yell and clapped my hands red. I then went to my computer, once the show was over, and let everyone in my address book that was from Louisiana know that you'd won and that New Orleans should be dancing in the streets that night. Now most of these people receiving my e-mail don't even watch soaps. So imagine my surprise to have my grandson, Logan Orr's godmother, Simonne Sapera, forward an e-mail to me and in it, tell me that she's a friend of your's and your father does business with her! I'm a happier soap fan today with all this info. (Yes, it doesn't take much to make me happy.) Congratulations, Christian, on many wonderful years of performances that I've watched and that brought you this highest honor. I am so happy for you!
