This has been a very pleasant place to vacation at. It was clean comfortable and fully furnished. Just like home away from home with the proprietors Mr. & Mrs. Howard being down home friendly and a wealth of knowledge of the local sites to see. Great Mountain View off of the covered porch and only 5 minutes from the lake to go fishing. The wife loved having everything she needed to cook our own meals if we wanted in a country setting, but still not far from being able to go out to eat at some fine restaurants. We will book our vacation here when we come down again. If you like to relax, look out over the mountains from the covered porch this is the place to be. Five Stars out of five stars.My wife and are from Michigan and have vacationed at MARGARETS Shady PLACE 865-767-3428. I had written in the guest book and forgot to mention the phone number and the place we stayed at. It was really a great vacation.
