Had lost this site. Much has been added. Great. A Btry 5th 16th arty 66-67 Have been back in 98,2000,2005 They like us and accept us. Except for a few old soldiers. Most old troops believe the past is past. But we are still the reason for tourist info. Everything is about the war. They hate the Russians Love americans. Saigon is modern Hanoi is still in the dark ages as far as modern thinking. But changing.

Just found your site. I served with 5/16 Arty in B and A Batteries (FDC) from May 68 to May 69.

I served with Delta Battery, 5/16th Artillery, 4th Inf. Div. 3-68/3-69. We were out of Pleiku...ran Hwy 14 up through Dakto, Kontum, Ben Het, Polie Kleng, FB#6 on the Dak Poko river.
