I am a direct decendant of Lawton Palmer and Nancy Button. This is a direct line to William Palmer who arrived in America on the ship Fortune in 1621. I have joined a "Palmer" Group DNA project with Familytreedna.com and would like to enlist other males with lineage to Lawton or William to join. Of the 76 "Palmers" in this group, none match with me nor claim William to be their ancestor. It would be great to have others claiming William as an ancestor to join to see how we all match up!

Nice depiction from the Beaver Valley where I visited as a child to Mary Davis. I lived there also in 1948 but stayed there many years on visits. Aunt was Bess (Mclintock) Davis on Church St.Cousins are June and Kearn Gray etc. Nice job, :go Beavers."

I have been to Brookfield Many times. My sister lived there and my family visited
them many times. When I was in my teens I
enjoyed going to the races at he fair
grounds. My favorite driver was Freddy Sheppard.

Hi, What a nice website. Lots of history! And I have seen the region since I traveled there many years ago to buy my horse in West Edmeston. But I just discovered two sets of my grandparents are buried in Brookfield! Does anyone have any early history books or other information available about the area? They were Joshua and Wealthy Morgan and Hezekiah and Lydia Usher. They passed away in the mid 1800's. Thanks for any information!
