I was born in Hainesville (January 11, 1935)and the last time I was there was in 1963. A lot has changed since then. The house I was born in has been removed and there is a Golf Course there now. I got my first haircut in Branchville and was able to copy the information about that barber shop a few years ago. I sometimes get information from a Sussex County newspaper but it doesn't seem like much is happening in Hainesville. I'm 73 years old now and I do hope to make one (1) more visit up there. My neighbor, Richard (Dick) Wright will be brought back to branchville for burial in his hometown. Before he recently passed, he was my Spartanburg, South Carolina neighbor for the past 10 years. A great guy. He's coming home, now.

I was born in Branchville in 1958 and lived there until 1963 on Newton Ave. My grandparents moved to Branchville during The Depression and my grandfather worked in the First National Bank of Sussex County. My parents worked at Selected Risks where they met. I used to go back every year for Farm and Horse Show until 1976. I hadn't been back until 2003 when I retired from the Air Force. Nice to see that not too much has changed.
