I am an playing member of a Pipe Band that was also started in 1946. The band was formed by returned servicemen and has had continuous service to the community for the last 57 years. The name of the band is St.George Sutherland Scottish Pipe Band, but was originally St.George Scottish Pipe Band. I am currently a side drummer but prior to that I was Bass and Tenor. I have enjoyed you site immensley, Thank you. I only wish we could get our own website as well. Ian.
