The site is cool. Keep up the good work. This is basically the only site I know of on the internet that has a lot of things about huskies on it.

Hello,
I thought this husky web page was
excellent!
We are sending a short message around to
as many people we know that love and
care for animals. We hope that you too
can send around or discuss what we are
about to say.
We have just recently learnt about the
illegal meat trade in South Korea, where
around three million people consume dog
and cat meat each year. There are laws
which prohibit the consumption of
companion animals', but they are poorly
enforced. Many traders work in 'back
alley' markets where the dogs and cats
are tortured and held in small, confined
spaces for long periods of time. The
South Korean's believe that the more
torture inflicted on the animal, the
more tender, tantalising and aphrodisic
the meat becomes. The dogs are hung up
while alive and their furr scorched off
with blow torches. Dog's endure
prolonged beatings with steel poles to
ensure the meat is 'tender'. The cats
are even boiled in large containers to
make a supposed hearty juice.
Now the most disturbing part that
affects us is that many of our dogs and
cats are leaving our shores and
circulating into Asia, no doubt ending
up in the meat trade. The evidence
shows that large breeds such as St
Bernards, Huskys and German Shepherds
trade for the highest dollar in this
government sanctioned enterprise.
Now please, don't assume that this is a
'cultural practice'. South Koreans have
only been eating the meat of dog and cat
since after World War 2, when their
country was plunged into a deep famine.
Now they are one of the economic leaders
in South East Asia and this barbaric and
cruel form of dining can no longer be
excused.
Now we are not vegetarians, but no one
can endorse or accept this pathetic
torture of our beloved animals any
longer.
This is very disturbing and you needn't
view the pictures, but your support is
desperately needed to end this
disgusting practice. Please visit the
links below to find out more about this
problem.
Thankyou on behalf of the dogs and cats,
Troy and Amy

Thoroughly enjoyed the webpage and appreciate the comments. Are you an Australian organisation because we need some urgent advise about the husky pup that our son has transfered to us?
