We had our wedding with Barry and Suzye and it was spectacular. We wish that our entire party would have rented out the compound for the week. These two are the most helpful and hospitable people that we have ever met. Not to mention the wonderful food. The first thing out of everyone's mouth whenever we see them was how incredible the food was on our wedding night. All of the guests said that it was the best food they had ever eaten. The groom and I surprised everyone with fresh caught tuna for dinner. We didn't tell anyone what they eating until they were done raving about how fabulous it was. I left all of the wedding details up to Suzye including the flowers and hair and makeup and it was great. My bouquet can not even be special ordered up here with the flowers that were in it. It was beautiful. Things went perfectly. We were a bit nervous about planning our wedding out of the country and leaving the details until 2 days before but Barry and Suzye are true professionals. They do a wonderful and they were also accomidating to our guests who stayed at other resorts in the area. If you are considering Villa Alegre for your wedding, DO IT! You won't be disappointed. I also recommend Fernando as a photographer and Candy for hair and make-up. They were both great! We can't wait to go back for our anniversary.

The honeymoon was more than a year ago, and we still talk about Villa Alegre! Barry, Suzye, we loved the place so much, we've decided to relocate to Costa Rica! We look forward to seeing you again later this summer. rmg

We are a flight crew. We stay in hotels or on the road 200 days a year. Barry and Suzye are WONDERFUL. Their place is fantastic. Their location is perfect. Stay there!!! Do not hesitate or shop around, just stay there!!
