I am so thankful I found your page. I am the wife(26 Years) of a recovering alcoholic. We have been separated for 2 years. He has been sober for one. I am going to print(if it is ok with you) many of the poems you put on your site and put in a scrapbook for his 1 year ceremony next month, and hope it will give him as much inspiration as it did me. Your site is wonderfull, my 28 yr. old son is the acoholic in my life! Just learned of his addiction about 6 months ago and it HURTS to see him when he relapses but he is trying! The Letting Go part is very difficult for me at this time. But I have joined a support group which is very helpfull! Thank You

I love your poems. I have never seen a site to help to families deal with desease of addiction.I am so happy to have found yours. My first born son was addicked to drugs died 6 years ago. My youngest son is addicked to drugs has been for years. Addiction has been in my family for as far back as I can think. Everything thing from alcohol to coke and heroin to percription drugs. My granparents my mother, my father, my brother, myself, my children

Your site gave me some comfort Thank You. My 27 year old son just returned from rehabilatation Sunday, an addict of Methadone trying to detox from pain killers. I not having any personal or family experience with addiction have been searching for some help and comfort where I can. Thanks again, A loving mother of an addict.
