First off I'm not a JV but was a christian. I too after seeking more knowledge have discovered that the bible is full of errors, contradictions and gore. It cannot be relied upon as factual or the word of god becasue of the influence of the writers and their selfish ways. Back in the old days religion was all these communities had to keep their communities in order. using fear and judgment and pay to cesear and yadda yadda. basically i beleive that their has to be a god but i reject all forms of religion and worship and the competition of my 'god is the real' or my god is better than yours cause we liked those who did not listen. take care.

to awnser the guys question abot them changing 607 to 587 then they would have no 1914 witch was when crist started his milliumal rain. so with out 607 no 1914 no jesus no J.W

you 607 bce letter is amazing. i always wondered why they never read anything about 607 from the bible.as well as many other things they have hang ups about that just dot make sence. i was born a j .dub,i stayed one for 17 years.Now I will die a free man living life as it should be.thank you for posting this for others to see and break free.

I realize this is a guest book and not a forum but just out of interest I want to pose a hypothetical question to you. You state at the beginning of your information "I am currently still known as one of Jehovah’s witnesses and have been for the last 27 years. The JW belief system is all I have ever known. Most of my family are still in the “truth”, as is also the case for my wife’s family." So,,,,, If..... The Society, Governing Body or whatever you want to call them issued a statement: "After considering all the evidence it can be seen that the date of the fall of Jerusalem is not 607 BCE but is 587 BCE as recognized by most authorities". Presumably.. what you are trying to achieve by your site information is such an admission. ( or am I wrong?) What would you expect 6,000,000 people to do? What are your expectations? What would you do? Just curious

I notice that my rebuttal to that badly-written 'jehovahsjudgement' site was cited. They are the facts of the matter about 607 as they relate to what is taught by JWs. (There is additional evidence that also disproves JWs views about 607 and 1914, however I have dealt with all of the information presented by the Watchtower Society and its proponents.) No one, including the Watchtower Society itself (to which I wrote), has been able to validate the 607 belief. The argument that current events 'prove' JWs to be correct are merely emotive and illusory devices used to scare members to tow the line, and this is demonstrated by some of the anxious and confused comments that others have left on this guestbook.
