I think they were stored in the cupboards. I don't think they were under lock and key. I guess they wouldn't have to be. I think I had some for supper the other night. It wasn't too bad after you got past the fluffy white stuff. Is Gene Autry back in the saddle?? Go Angels.

From what I remember, we did have rations stored on site. "K" or "C". Enough for two weeks. Where they were kept???

Does anyone remember any rations stored on the missile sites? I was just on a web site that talks about being able to survive for up to two weeks after launch or near miss of an attack missile. Also, they are talking about where to go or what to do after launching the bird. All I remember, if we had to launch, we were out of a job, and had to walk home! The only food I remember on the sites, was what we carried in each day. I quess, those latter day missile types had it made.

Okay, here's a trivia question for all of you. Who was CINCSAC after General Thomas Power?

You should have received the preliminary letter by now.
We have received several suggestions as to what we should do for the next reunion. Will check them out, and let you know. Keep those suggestions coming.

The committe met last Sat, and decided to hold the next reunion in Sept 2004, instead of waiting for the museum to reopen. We are losing too many members to wait too long. So, mark your calendar 1 Sept-5 Sept 2004. Don't miss this one. Letter will be mailed soon.
