Hi, I was in the 36th in vung tao and Vin Long in 1968 and 1969. I drove a five ton dump and a few times a ten ton tractor and trailor. I don't have much memory of the ugly we saw there and am real glad to find you guys may I can fill in some of the gaps. I am looking forward to hearing from some of you. I am tired of being out here alone.

Was with the 36th Engineers Jan69 to Jan70 started out in the fuel & electrical repair shop, then spent time at rock quarry driving a frontend loader and 5ton dump from there went to work in the club for the last 2 months of tour. Sure would like to hear from anybody who remembers me or anybody during 69 & 70 tour. Due to the many years and moves I have made I have lost all the pictures that were taken.

Arrived at Ft. Irwin May 1966. Served in B Company, 36th Engineers. Shipped to Viet Nam on Gen. John Pope, Sept. 1967. I was stationed at Vung Tau until Sept. 1968.

Served in company B, 36th engineers. At Fort Erwin when formed. Went over on the Pope in September of 67 and came back October of 68.

I drove a ten yard hauling asphalt. 70/71 its good to see a site like this one .would like too hear from anyone. i am now 100% disabled from rieters syndrome something i picked up in vinh long that stayed with me ! i would like to hear from anyone else who contracted this diseaes.
