I served with the 36th Engr BN from March 1968 to March 1969. The BN was in Vung Tau and after about six months moved to Ving Long. The Commanding Officer was Lt. Col Richard E. Leonard and the XO was Maj. Brown. I served as the BN S-4 the entire time I was there. It is nice to find this site.

I just visited this site for the second time and just wanted to say great site.I was with a lot of you Guys at Gia Ray,with the 27th eng bttn(Cmb).I have been talking a lot with Mickey Blanchford and it is great to remember those days.I spent a lot of my tour at Gia Ray or when at Blackhorse running convoys to there.I will never forget the looks we always got from our friends in Sui Cat.
