I received this email from MAJ Williams, Adjutant for the 36th Engineer Group ....
Sir,
I am the Adjutant for the 36th Engineer Group and I ran across your website today. I want to let you know that the 36th Engineer Group will be conducting a Change of Command Ceremony and will also be re-designated as the 36th Engineer Brigade on 16 June 2006. Following the ceremonies, the 36th will officially be assigned to Fort Hood, Texas. If you or any other members of the 36th Engineer Battalion are interested in attending this ceremony please let me know.
Thank you for your service to our Nation during one of our worst chapters. I salute you, Sir!

Cheers to webmaster, but I would prefer dark blue color theme... it's not that I have any relations with gays (nor do I disapprove of them), just like the color. And yeah, recently I discovered a nice little trick of preventing almost all kinds of spam, and that's a double requirement for verification, the second comes after the post is submitted... well it's up to you whether to immlement it or not. Good luck to y'all! Sincerely yours, Paula from Luxembourg.

I served in D company 36th Engineers from June 1969 to June 1970. I drove the water truck, operated a road grader, drove a 10 ton low boy, and saw most of the job sites. I also served with the 14th Engineers in 1967-68. This is an update with my new e-mail address.
