The clerk pointed across a muddy field and said "you go across the street to Co D Headquaters to see Sargent Darr" I knew he had been in crountry too long, that was not street.Mud when it was wet and dust when it wasn't. I was the mail clerk for a while then Idrove Col. Potters jeep Hippocamus 6. I got short in May of 71. Now I'm retired and ski in the winter and golf and ride my Gold Wing cross country in the summer.
