hi everyone. my dad is ed rutherford. he was in D co. in the 36th eng. from june 66 to may of 68. was first at vung tau then went to black horse. his friends were, bill watts from tn, leland monfiles from ws, lee arbogast from oregon, thomas pullen from s.carolina, joe casias(?) big mexican guy from yuma arizona, and another mexican guy from california named castanon(?) all were in D company. if anybody remembers him or any of these other guys email me!

Hello, I've been searching out information on the 36th Combat Engineers of World War II. My father was with them. His name was James B. Washington, land mine finder. We lost him two years ago. He told me a bit about the war - but left the bad things out. Bless him. I now am learning what he would not say.
