I served with the 36th Engineer Battalion A Co. worked in motor pool,
made trips to the rock pier at nite to
cut out barges to unload the material
for road construction. Remember using the ferry when we wanted to go anywhere.
Made trips to Bin Tuy and Long Binh many
times. Looking forward to hearing from
someone from the motor pool.

Dennis H Cady I served with Dennis Wild in D company,land clearing.Got a letter from him after I got out.We kept in touch for awhile,but havent heard from him in years.Glad you made it back,WELCOME HOME. Frank DePasquale Ithink I served with you in 68 in a compound outside of Vung Tau.I was the crane operator on the bridge we built going toward the Australian compound.It was beside a slaughter house.Do you remember LaBreck or Sgt. Boog a loo?I caught hepatitus and was sent home.The unit had already moved to Vinh Long by the time I got out of the hospital and signed up for another tour.I operated a crane at the rock pier,then when they formed land clearing I transfered to it.Liked it so much I signed up for another tour.Stayed with them and D company till they disbanded land clearing,got out for good about a week later in Oct. 70.
