I saw the photos of your Christmas Gift “67” Zippo lighters as shown on your web site. I sure wish I had saved my “52” lighter. I was surprised to see the Seahorse Patch painted on the rock pile at Fort Irwin. I see that It took you over 20 days to get to your destination of Vietnam. I began my journey to Korea in 1952 by reporting to Camp Kilmer NJ then to the Brooklyn Navy Yard NY and then on 17 knot Troop Carrier to Japan that took 32 days and took us through the Panama Canal. Then on another troop carrier from Japan to a landing at Inchon Korea that took another 4 to 5 days. I passed under the Golden Gate Bridge into Oakland harbor upon returning (in the opposite direction from you) from Pusan Korea. Thanks for the compliment from you in my Guest Book on my web site http://www.36engr.cityslide.com Ed Usonis
