By the way, our Battalion was still in Germany in February, 1945 and not broken-up as mentioned in your history page. We got back to the States about August 4, 1945 at Camp Miles Standish, near Boston, Mass.

I, Henry W Hartlove left Fort Belvoir in Virginia for Plattsburg, NY in June or July, 1941. Shortly, there after, I joined the 36th Engineer Combat Group, Battalion 2826.
Is there are one left from this Battalion, or are any of there family members comunicating here? I am 85 years old, originally from Baltimore, Maryland and have been married more than 60 years.
All those who are interested, can E-mail me at: hwhartlove@prodigy.net
