Hi! Great site, very interesting and informative. I have just invested in,after much thought and research,a Helios 130M complete with RA motormount.I can honestly say what a sound investment it was,and probably one of the best I've made! It's my first scope, and I am looking forward to many nights looking around the night sky and further developing my interests. Regards to all fellow astronomers out there, whether amateurs like myself,or of the professional variety.

I, like you, have made the plunge. I should receive my 6" Newtonian next week. Must see Mars in August when it is closest (in 73,000 years) to earth. Hope to be able to see some of the objects you've seen. Nice website. Dave
