If anyone wants to be in the Yiyang directory, just email me. If anyone wants to take over the directory, ditto. The effort could be minimal...I have a nucleus of some 60 names! The August update will be my last, since my daughter is from Kunming, not Yiyang. It's great to see that a site has been started and I will add its address to the directory update.

I just received my referral on 5/23/00 for my son's sister and my daughter, Alise Ning Hua. We just received her pictures today and a healthy medical report. She is a little chubby with a head full of "stand up" hair. She was born 9/1/99, and I hope to travel by the end of July. If anyone has updated pictures they would like me to deliver to the orphanage, email me and we can make arrangements. I am looking for any info from anyone that had an opportunity to visit the inside of the orphanage and their overall impression. These are exciting times!!!!

We returned from China 4/7/00 with the lovely Yi, Shuwei, now named Natalie Shuwei. We didnt get to visit the orphanage, but did do the the notarial paperwork in Yi Yang-what a great street that bldg is on!!! Theres a big flea market selling all kinds of food, etc! We were the source of much curiosity to the locals, who wanted to know "Do we love this baby?"(ABSOLUTELY!) The road to YiYang from Changsha is a beautiful ride, on a modern hwy. The babies from YiYang were quite healthy. Pls email me with any specific questions!
