Great to find this site ! I served with 601st/Det 6 (Grafewohr AAS) from Feb 1966 through Jan 1969, then 18 months in 'Nam with the 619th TCS/CRC (PARIS control at Tahn Son Nhut), then 36 months with the 607th TCS/83rd TCF at Davis-Monthan. (Now, where is the box with all those pictures........... )

Hi, i was at pruem air station from sept. 78 till march 81, as a member of the afcent radio relay site, better known as "the afcent bar". we were a gruop off about 10-12 guys mixed german and us soldiers. i hope to find some old friends.

Very nice site and very, very informative. ...was 601st First Shirt at Sembach in '67 and '68 before the reorganization and then had to go down to Spain. Our commander was Colonels Gordon and Jim Moon .. remember very well visiting all the 7 Dets several times with them and getting "acquainted" with all the local breweries. Congrats to whomever keeps this site... it's outstanding !!!

I was at Sembach from late in 1965 until transfered to 601st Det. 1 in 1966. I worked in Radio Maint. at the CRC (Control & Reporting Center). Interesting times. It was nice to stumble across this website and the old memories.
