Stationed at Rothwestern and St Andreasberg Oct 1953 to Oct l956..and a good time was had by all at the site and at Kassell.. If anyone hasn't attended a reuion yet, you are certainly missing a good time...My hat goes off to Todd and Willy for the great job that they are doing...

Was there 1952-1954; Bill Dow was CO of the MSQ Detachment. Spider Eubanks, Bill Francis and myself were ssignbed as controllers. Frank Stanke was our maintenace officer. We spent a lot of time on the road. Enjoy the contacts.

Great site...brings back many memories of Gunpost and Kassel. I was there 54-56. It seems like yesterday. I drove through Kassel in 1992 after the wall came down. I was living in Amsterdam and was driving back from Prague. It seemed like a different city and I guess it was.

Just like to say hi. I was Stationed at Wasserkuppe, 616th AC&W Sq. from 1966 to 1970. Was a weapons tech on charlie crew. Spent may nights in the City Bar in Gersfeld. Would like to hear from other "koop" people.....thanks for the great website.

AT ROTHWESTEN FOR 6 MOS FROM JULY 54 TO DEC 54. BACK TO STATES ON EMERG LEAVE. WAS AT THE MSQ SITE(DET 3 I THINK). RETIRED FROM AF IN 79. DONT REMEMBER TO MANY NAMES BUT DO RECALL JAMES MUTT DICK GRUE. REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME THE AF WAS PAID IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH(ONLY BECAUSE WE HAD A CRAP GAME AND I WON A COUPLE OF BUCKS THAT DAY. OCT 54) DO REMEMBER THE "DUGOUT" AND E-M CLUB.
