You have a great website that brings back a lot of great memories. I was stationed there from 1969 to 1972 in computer maintenance. We lived in Engelhelms near Fulda.

Man, did this bring back some memories... Marie's
down in K town, and Granny Klus's in Gersfeld.
1960-63, 603 at Langerkof one year, then the Hill
and Charlie Crew. If you don't remember Marie's or
Granny's we most likely did not know each other
well... if you do give a holler...
The pictures and all the posts on the site, really
made think about how much fun a really young guy
had, but did not really appreciate until now
Still was a once in a life time event and there were
so many fun folks, had a super time

I forgot to state my time was in Prum from October 1957 thru June 1960, I worked on all four crews in Radar Operations and also in the Ops Office. I was an Airman First Class (E-4) 27350A, Radar Operator and FROZED with 3 years in grade. I lived at the "Summer Gasthouse" up on the hill in Prum. I had my wife, JoAnne, with me, she died 1965. I bought my first new car, 1958 Blue with White top Gogomobile TS 400. Lots of good memories from there.

I was not stationed at Birkenfeld, my father was. He is TSgt Joseph Cooper. He was an MP, or affectionately by me, "Air Fuzz." We were there from approx June 1964 until June of 67. My mom, Bobbi, worked as a cashier in the Falcon NCO Club. I went to school there for 1st 2nd and 3rd grade. I have such great memories from there. Everything from the 4 lane bowling alley to where we lived was fun.
Anyone who knew my dad is welcome to contact me.
Thanks, Mike

Served in the 615th at Pruem from Nov.'57 through Aug.'60 as a weapons controller (1744), 1/Lt. I have a list of many, but not all, of the officers who served there during those years and know a bit about what became of some of them. Those were the days, my friends!
