Keep up the great work! I was in Freising with the 604th from July 55 thru Dec 57 in Radio Maintenance ("racecard maintenance"), and we held our first reunion in October of 2004 at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. It was a great reunion and everyone is welcome to join us at any and all future reunions. Mike Torma, Bob Madey, Joe Lovasco, and myself (Ben Adelman) together with lots of help from everyone put together a great reunion. I highly recommend some place like Vegas to you folks involved with setting up a reunion. It was great for everyone to shmooz the lounges for entertainment after visiting old friends, and or joining them to enjoy the entertainment that a place like Vegas provides. If all goes well, our next reunion for the 604th and det 1 of the 616th and anyone else with an affiliation with Freising and those of us that were there are welcome to join us at our next reunion tentatively scheduled for the year 2006 (where it will be held is still up in the air at this time). I will be more than happy to provide contact info for anyone in our roster that you may be looking for. Stand tall and be proud! We served an important role!

I was a dependent stationed at Wasserkuppe in the late 50's. I went to a German school in Gersfeld and Susie and Ellen Peters were my best friends. Susie taught me to ski, starting me off in the swimming pool before I could go down the hill. I really enjoyed this site.

Enjoy the comments. USAF lived like human beings i.e. two men assigned a room with hollywood beds with apologies for "being crowded!" We ASA folk would have 5-6 in such a room with no apologies. Rothwesten was interesting 1960-62 and I worked in the "ice house." Made some extra money my last year as chapel organist (above the EM Club). My best to all.

My dad, Tsgt. Earl R. Wadsworth was stationed at the kuppe from 1970..1972. He was the "Mess Sgt". I am his son and was 16..18 years old at the time. If anyone who was stationed at the Kuppe at that time would like to contact me please feel free via E-Mail and I would be very happy to give you a run down of dad since departing the kuppe
