I was stationed with the 601st at Linderhof, Germany, a small radar site. I can't seem to find any information about this site. I was there in 1961, for about 9 months before shipping out for Hahn Air Force Base. Can anybody lead me to information about this radar site in Linderhof, it is like a lost part of my past.

Radar Maint. Rothwesten 1955-1956, Prume 1956-1958, TDY most of '58 to Birkenfeld, Pfortsheim, Regensburg, 1958-1959 at Duren. Married in Maastricht '57. Looking for the other two "musketeers": John Lenchanko and Frank Sturm. Regards to Gary Baxter, Joe Grammetbauer, Jim Crowder and all those who remember me. Retired 1974, having served in Germany, North Africa, Johnston Island, Vietnam, Tyndall, Vandenberg, MITRE CORP., Topsham and Bucks Harbor. It was one hellova gig, but I'd do it all again if I could, only better.

I was stationed @ Sembach at the 601st tcs from 11/67 until 5/71. I graduated to tcw and worked wing material supply providing priority supplies for the detachments. Contact me, I also worked the nco club as a bartender then head bartender before I came home. Take care Guys!

My wife Kay has been keeping us up to speed on the 601st, however, I'm sorry to say, she passed away on Monday, March 29, 2004, just a few weeks short of our 49th Anniversary.
