Spectacular web site! My father, MSGT John R. Myers (deceased 1986) was assigned to the 615th (Pruem) & 604th (Freising) AC&W Sqdns from 1961-64. Ran dining facilities & was club custiodian. I was there as a dependent (Anne, mother, John Jr. brother, Raymond, brother & Linda, sister). Pruem CC was LTCOL Langbartel//Freising CC was Col Howard. Web site comments & photo's brought back great memories! I returned to Pruem as a USAFE IG Inpsector ( Capt/SP) in Mid 80's and helped conduct a Management effectiveness Inspection...was amazed at the difference in the elisted Dorms..much improved from the wooden "shacks" of the 50s/early 60's era. Left USAFE in '92...last time I saw Pruem...retired from USAF in 2002 as LTC. would love to hear from any former Pruem/Freising "brats" circa 1961-1964....especially Boy Scouts from Troop 33 Freising... P.S. Freising update-discovered on trip back that "Vimy" Kaserne...right across the street from our little housing area, was closed by the Germans. The old pre-WW-I buildings which housed the NCO club, dining hall, enlisted dorms, small BX, snack bar, clinic, Sqdn HQ,etc, have been converted into really nice apartments...below the former soft ball field is a underground parking garage....new Munich Airport is only 7KM from Freising! Enjoyed the site!

I'am writing again because I know alot of people don't go back to the first page, I was stationed at the kuppe from 1967-1970, I was a Security Policeman, I was probably the shortest policeman there was. From April 67 to Aug 67 I was stationed at the 615th ac&w Sq. in Birkenfeld,Germany. I would like to hear from anyone that was there the same time I was.

I feel like a dumb a--! I was in Det 22 which later became the 602TCS (not 601)
of the 601TCW. It has been a long time.
Anyway, I would like to talk to anyone that was stationed at Neu Ulm.
