I am looking for anyone who knows where the bartender, Marliese, may be. She was the bartender at the Pruem Consolidated Club while I was there as a spouse in 1986 - 1988. My husband (at the time) and I years later had a daughter and named her Marliese. All I know about the bartender is that she married a military man and I think his last name was "Doffin" or something like that. If you have any idea -- please let me know. My daughter is 10 now.

Great web site ! I was stationed at the Kuppe with Det #3, 6914th RSM from April '56 through October '57, when they disbanded our Det. The pix of the ski run down to Obernhausen and Herr Peters' gasthaus brought back a lot of great memories ! Was Glen Griffits a CW operator who worked in the gurk out behind the barracks ? If so, I think I remember him. I don't think the radar antennas had domes over them when I was there. I remember the antennas rocking back and forth against the sky and wondering if they were tracking Migs. I am going to try and down load some of the great photos. Thanks very much !
