I was at Pruem '55-'56. My old girl friend Lydia Romeikat worked at base library. She married a tech rep. Anybody know who, or where they are now?

MY HUSBAND JAY SHAVER AND I WERE STATIONED IN PREUM 1960-63. I REALLY ENJOY THIS SITE IT BRINGS BACK LOTS OF MEMORIES. JAY DIED JAN 1996, HE RETIRED IN 1968 AT OFFUTT. THANKS FOR THE SITE AND ALL OF THE MEMORIES. ONE OF MY KIDS STARTED LOOKING UP PLACES WHERE HER DAD WAS STATIONED AND WE ARE HAVING A GREAT TIME WITH THIS.

Was at the base from roughly Dec 1951 thru Aug 1953 as a radio operator on Gunpost. Spent some time at Wasserkuppe
Still have my copy of mox nix and some photos etc of our base and the barracks and px areas. Brother just came back from a reunion of his outfit and I said what the heck, I would see what punching in the 601st would do.

Great site. I was with the 615th from 61-63. Then the 615th and I were relocated to Berkinfeld. I was A driver in the Motor Pool. Spent many hours down town drinking good old hot german beer. Many fond memories. Retire from the AF after 28 years. I think Prum inspired my staying in. Thanks.
