Great Site! I was in Radio Maintenance ("Racecard Maintenance") in 604th ACWRON at Freising, Germany from July 1955 thru December 1957. I'm sure many from your radio maintenance crews coordinated outage repairs with us time and time again. I went thru Sampson from June 1954 thru August 1954 and then thru Radio Maintenance school at Scott AFB from August 54 thur June 55. Would love to hear from anyone that knew me or was in the same places at the same time(s). I have made contact with a few, but have yet to make contact with Russ Tatum or Mike Torma, Everett "Stu" Stewart, Robert "Toe" Delgado, and all the special guys we were all so lucky to have been associated with during our time (great times too) our tours of duty. Keep up the good work... and would love to see more sites like yours. Ben Adelman

My Dad was stationed at Prüm Air Station from i think 77 to 89. I was born in prüm's german hospital in 1980.
Well anyway does anyone remembers my dad Michael Richard Farst. He worked I believe as a redar technichan.

Although he was not part of the
601st, my husband was a dentist in
Rothwesten from 1970 to 1973. He
died in 1977, but I would love to
contact some of the dispensary
personnel that were there at that
time. Our children were born in the
Kassel Stadtkrankenhaus, and the
photos of the area are wonderful to
show them. My husband was Maj. G.
Reginald Tawes. I am trying to locate
Dr. & Mrs. John Stringer. If anyone
has any info on the dispensary
personnel from that era, I would love
to hear from you! Thanks!

Mike,
Really brought back great memories. Was
one of my best assignments in 20 years
in the US Air Force. We did have fun
at Celle. I have a photo taken with
a group of RAFers and I bet you are in
the photo. I married a girl from Celle
in 1957. We are still married. I was
last in Celle in 1996. One of my Air
Force buddies married the daughter of
