Hi, I was in the 807th at Kindsbach from 7/57 to 1/59, then 601st OL6 at Celle from 1/59 to 1/60, the 601st OL14 at Linderhofe from 1/60 to 7/61. Great memories of Germany. Anyone out there remember me? Give me an e-shout.

Site is very good and seems accurate with the exception that the 611th TCF isn't located in Prum but Alzey, Germany. I was the Mobility Officer from Oct. 1983 - Oct 1986.

I was stationed at Wasserkuppe Air Station with the 1945th Comm Squadron from 1977-1978. I was one of the last U.S troops to leave the "Koop" as it was turned over to the Germans in 1978.

I was stationed at Pruem AB about 1981 to 1983 with Det 23, 1945 CS. I recognized some of the people in the Gasthaus picture -- what was the name of that place? And I remember Ernie Walwyn very well.

I was stationed with the 602 TCS from 1977-1981 but spent alot of time tdy to the 601 TCS at Prum. Later in 1990 took over command of 601 TCS after it had relocated to Zweibrucken Air Base. A great squadron.

Greetings to everyone -
My father was in the 626th AC&W and I am trying to put together a shadow box for him as a surprise from his military career with a patch from the 626th or even a color photo of one. I know this isn't the site for the 626th but I am having a lot of problem finding anything on the 626th. Would anyone have any information on the 626th or know where I could check? Thanks in advance!
