Signed in a few years ago but could not find it. I may have been one of the first ones to hit my car horn with "shave and a haircut, two bits" way back there. I used to go up the hill each morning on my way to work at Roderfield. Some mornings I would get a "good morning" back on the radio. thanks for the memories. Sammy.

use to listen to you every morning on my way to work at Capels for Allied Chemicals in Hemphill and back home again in the evening to Bradshaw. Loved your station. My father Earnie Daniels use to listen to you and when he would go by the station, he would always blow his horn. I miss listening to you and if there is any way, I could download your station on my laptop I would. Let me know. Debbie

I woke up with Sam every morning and loved the "Hip Hip Horray No School Today" song he played when we had a heavy snow. Sam is a real icon for this area and nobody who knows him will every forget him. I married and divorced Tim (Daniels) Cornell who used to be a DJ here about 1988-91. I went to Hemphill Elem 1972-78, Welch Jr. 1979-81 and Mt. View 1981-84. I would like to hear from some people that I knew from the goold ole days.

Greetings, Sam (and anyone who might remember us from our short stay in Welch back in 1995-1996). We have been active in pastoral ministry since leaving Welch in 1996 -- going to OH, TX, NY and now in Des Moines, IA. Still working with the Fire Department (Des Moines FD) as a Chaplain, just like we did for the Welch VFD and McDowell County Sheriff's Office during our time in Welch. Cheers to webmaster, but I would prefer dark blue color theme... it's not that I have any relations with gays (nor do I disapprove of them), just like the color. And yeah, recently I discovered a nice little trick of preventing almost all kinds of spam, and that's a double requirement for verification, the second comes after the post is submitted... well it's up to you whether to immlement it or not.
